On Thursday, Nov. 20, Senator Mark Kelly defended democracy by saying our troops should not obey an unlawful order. Trump called for their arrest, trial, and punishment as traitors, posting: “Hang them! George Washington would!!”.
It’s ironic and disturbing that the President is using such violent rhetoric against Senator Kelly- a former astronaut who has spent over a decade working tirelessly to reduce violence in America.
