Blueberries: The True Crime Series, Episode 1

BREAKING NEWS!

Hi!

In case you didn’t get the memo: I used to email you from a GISH server that was always breaking, arbitrarily deleting things, and generally acting…possessed. Now I am emailing you from my Substack for several carefully considered reasons:

  1. Substack actually works.

  2. I can still email you directly. (Yes, as you can probably guess, I’m sending this message to lots of people, but Substack makes it possible for me to email you personally and individually when I want to.)

  3. I can finally publish the good stuff: conversations between me, Emily, Senators, astronauts, our favorite authors and artists, and my fellow actors.

  4. Emily and I can chat with you in real chat rooms-places insulated from the garbage of traditional social media. In other words, it’s a place where we can get together and plot, do good, be silly, and get creative together.

  5. I’m bringing some GISH-y chaos over to Substack. Which will make me happy, because I have missed it so.

  6. We will host some special events on Substack, including group video chat where we can all hang out in real time.

  7. Most of the content will be free, but if you choose to be a paid subscriber, you will help sustain the project and unlock the VIP/Secret stuff.

Okay, enough housekeeping.

I do have an important (and rather shocking) video that I took at a family farm in Washington recently….

This is the first installment of our 4-episode true crime series: Blueberries.

Blueberries deals with difficult issues that some viewers may find unethical and May not be appropriate for all audiences.

If you do choose to watch, please share your thoughts on how these types of infractions impact our communities. (Emily thinks the prompt should really be: “Share your thoughts on how throwing your partner under the bus, or in this case, the bush, impacts your relationship.”)
